Is window tinting legal?
In the state of Massachusetts, the law specifies the following limits:
Sedans & SUVs, non-reflective tint is allowed on the top 6 inches of the windshield.
Front & rear side windows and the rear windshield must allow at least 35% of light in.
The legality of window tints varies by location, and it is best to make sure you do your research into local laws and regulations regarding tint darkness.
What are the benefits of window tinting?
Window tinting provides not only a stylish look to your vehicle, but includes UV protection, heat reduction, glare reduction, and increased privacy.
Can window tinting be applied to all windows?
Window tinting can be applied to most windows. Some windows, such as plastic convertible rear windows or windows with specialized coatings, may require customized or specialized tinting solutions. Feel free to consult with me to determine the best approach.
How long will the window tinting process take?
Depending on the vehicle type and the windows selected for tint, the duration of the process can vary. Please visit my booking page to get an estimate of each section and plan your schedule accordingly.
Do you offer a warranty for your tinting services?
Customers can inquiry about coverage for issues such as bubbling, fading or peeling window tint. Typically, we will cover one free re-tint of a window/windows if there are any issues related to the installation of the tint or the quality of the film.
Can I wait at the shop while my vehicle is getting tinted?
Yes, you may wait at the location while your vehicle is being tinted, where there are seating arrangements and facilities for customer use. However, to make the process quicker, drop-off of the vehicle is preferred.
What if I can’t make it to my window tint appointment?
A grace period of 20 minutes is allowed for customers to show up for their appointments. If a customer fails to show up in that period, the appointment is automatically cancelled and their deposit is lost. A new deposit will have to be applied towards their next appointment.
Customers are allowed 1 reschedule with atleast a 24 hour heads up beforehand. For emergency purposes, we could consider a reschedule without notice.
